Dirk Marc

Dirk Treber (born August 27, 1951 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a Hessian politician ( Die Grünen ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After graduating from high school in Groß-Gerau in 1970, Treber studied sociology , political science and economics at the University of Frankfurt and graduated in 1977 as a sociologist. In the meantime, he interrupted his studies to do military service from 1971 to 1973 . After graduation he worked as a research assistant at the university and from July 1979 in market research.

politics

Marc had been active in the movement against the expansion of the West Runway since 1979 . Since May 1, 1981, he was also a member of the Greens. In the state elections in Hesse in 1982 , representatives of the Greens, including himself, were elected to the state parliament for the first time. He had run in the constituency of Groß-Gerau II , but was elected via the state list of the Greens. Holger Börner's attempt to govern by means of a minority government ("Hessian conditions") failed after a few months. In the early state elections in Hesse in 1983 , Marc was re-elected. His group made him vice-chair. Due to the rotation principle practiced by the Greens at the time , he had to give up his mandate on April 15, 1985. His successor was Jochen Vielhauer . He initially stayed as a research assistant in the green parliamentary group in Wiesbaden , then became parliamentary group leader of his party in the Groß-Gerau district council and finally switched to local politics in his home town of Mörfelden-Walldorf , where his wife Wilma Frühwacht, took effect on July 4, 1989 as a full-time city councilor -Treber has been active for a long time.

Even after leaving the parliaments, Treber is active in the "Interest Group for Combating Aircraft Noise" and the "Federal Association against Aircraft Noise" against the expansion of the airport.
