action

The teacher Mike Mallory and his underage student and affair Trish travel from England to France for a romantic weekend. Trish is pregnant, which Mike doesn't know about yet, and tries to get him to leave his wife for her. Mike, however, has other plans: he bought a pickaxe and a shovel at a hardware store. He wants to kill Trish and then bury it.

When the two reach the lonely weekend house, however, they find an unconscious man and a bag with valuable old gold coins. It's about the criminal Vincent, who is seriously injured after a car accident. Mike initially believes he is dead and convinces Trish to bury him and keep the money instead of calling the police. When they dug the hole, Vincent is awake and attacks Mike, injuring his foot. Trish threatens Vincent with his own pistol and forces him to hide in the refrigerator while the cops Jaubert and Cipher interrogate them and Mike.

After the two cops leave, Trish and Mike try to kill Vincent. However, this convinces her that it is not a good idea to shoot him because of the necessary cleaning effort. They then decide to drown him in the bathtub. While Trish is taking in the water in the bathroom, Vincent convinces Mike to let him live. Mike offers him his freedom and the money. Vincent is supposed to kill Trish for this because Mike has realized that he will not be able to kill a person. Vincent accepts the offer.

However, Mike tries to run away with the money, whereupon Vincent teams up with Trish. Mike manages to overpower and bury both of them. When he is about to leave, however, he discovers that he has also buried the car key. So he digs them up again. However, Trish is still alive and shoots him. Then she alerted the police.

On the way back, Trish finds part of the money Mike hid there in the car.
