Dmitri Igorewitsch Suranowitsch , also Dmitry Suranovich ( Russian Дмитрий Игоревич Суранович ; born  June 27, 1995 in Minsk , Belarus ) is a Russian racing driver .

Career

Suranowitsch began his motorsport career in 2008 in karting , in which he was active until 2011. Among other things, he won the Russian KF3 championship in 2009 and the Russian KF2 championship in 2010. In 2011 he also made his debut in formula racing and took part in four Formula Abarth racing weekends for Euronova Racing . He was 24th in the Italian and 25th in the European ranking.

In 2012 , Suranowitsch started the year for Victory Motor Racing in the Toyota Racing Series , New Zealand's highest monoposto class . In Timaru , he achieved his first podium finish in formula racing with a second place. He finished the season in twelfth place in the drivers' championship. Then Suranovich took part in the season of the GP3 series for Marussia Manor Racing . He had already completed test drives for the team in 2011. Suranovich remained without points and finished the season in 23rd place while his teammate Tio Ellinas won a race.

In 2013 Suranowitsch switched to Fortec in the European Formula 3 championship . His engagement ended after an event because he refrained from further participation due to a back injury. Suranowitsch finally completed other missions in the Brazilian Formula 3 championship, in which he was runner-up.
