The 2013 European Formula 3 Championship was the twelfth season of the European Formula 3 Championship and the second since the series was resumed in 2012. It began on March 24th in Monza and ended on October 20th in Hockenheim . Ten events with three races each were held.
After the European Formula 3 Championship in 2012 consisted of races that belonged to the Formula 3 Euro Series or the British Formula 3 Championship , the events this season are all independent racing weekends.

Racing calendar
With the exception of the events in Monza , Silverstone and Le Castellet , all races took place in the DTM supporting program . The season opener in Monza was held as part of the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), the race in Silverstone took place as part of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the race in Campagnano di Roma was held as part of the Superstars Series . There were three races per event.
