The 2013 GP3 series was the fourth season of the GP3 series . It starts on May 11th in Barcelona and ends on November 3rd on Yas Island . Daniil Kwjat won the drivers' championship.

Changes in the teams
- Ocean Racing Technology stopped racing after a season in the GP3 series. Koiranen GP moved into the GP3 starting field instead.
- Atech CRS Grand Prix , active in the championship since the GP3 series was founded, handed over its starting place to Bamboo Engineering .
- ART Grand Prix returned to the official team name. In the preseason the team competed as a Lotus GP .
Racing calendar
As in the previous year, a total of eight race weekends were held in 2013, seven of them in Europe. With the exception of the event in Valencia , all races took place as part of the Formula 1 and GP2 series .

Point system
At the main race (HAU) the first ten of the race got 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 or 1 point (s). In the sprint race (SPR) the first eight of the race received 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 or 1 point (s). In addition, the winner of the qualifying, who starts from pole position in the main race, received four points. The driver who achieved the fastest lap of the first ten classified drivers received two points.
