Tamás Pál Kiss (born May 19, 1991 in Miskolc ) is a Hungarian racing driver . He competed in the GP3 series in 2011 and 2012 . He has been competing in the Auto GP since 2013 .

Career

Pál Kiss began his motorsport career in karting in 2000 , in which he was active until 2007. Among other things, Pál Kiss was three times Hungarian kart champion and 2005 runner-up in the Central European ICA junior kart championship. In 2007 he also made his formula racing debut in the Hungarian E-2000 championship . After finishing eighth in the first season, he finished third in this series in 2008. He also started in the Swiss Formula Renault , in which he finished 14th overall.

In 2009, Pál Kiss switched to the British Formula Renault, in which he competed for the Hitech Junior Team . With two seventh places as the best results, Pál Kiss finished the season in 13th place in the drivers' standings. In 2010, Pál Kiss stayed with his team, which had been renamed the Atech Grand Prix , and contested his second season in the British Formula Renault. Pál Kiss won three races, including the season opener, and was on the podium a total of eight times. He finished the season as the best driver of his team in third place in the championship. He also took part in two races in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup as a guest starter .

In 2011 , Pál Kiss started for Tech 1 Racing in the GP3 series . With a win he finished the season in 16th place in the drivers' championship. In 2012 he switched to Atech CRS Grand Prix within the GP3 series . Pál Kiss achieved second place as the best result and improved to twelfth place overall. He left his teammates well behind. Following the GP3 season, Pál Kiss took part in two Formula Renault 3.5 events for BVM Target .

In 2013 , Pál Kiss was without a permanent racing cockpit. For the third race weekend he entered the Auto GP . He then completed the rest of the season and was used by the MLR71 Racing Team , Zele Racing and the Ibiza Racing Team . Pál Kiss was always in the top 8 and third place was his best result. He was fifth in the drivers' championship.
