John Bryant-Meisner (born September 21, 1994 ) is a Swedish automobile racing driver . He started in the European Formula 3 championship in 2014 .

Career

Bryant-Meisner began his motorsport career in karting in 2004 , where he was active until 2009. In 2010 he switched to formula racing and started for the BS Motorsport team in the Swedish Formula Renault . While his team-mate Daniel Roos won the championship title, he finished the season with third place as the best result in fifth place in the drivers' championship. He also made guest starts in the Finnish Formula Renault and took part in an event of the Northern European Formula Renault for Koiranen Bros. Motorsport . After the season he also competed for Koiranen in the winter series of the British Formula Renault. In 2011, Bryant-Meisner received a cockpit at Koiranen Motorsport in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and in the Northern European Formula Renault. While his teammates Carlos Sainz jr. and Daniil Kwjat won races and Sainz achieved the championship title of the Northern European Formula Renault, a third place was Bryant-Meisner's best result in the Northern European Formula Renault, which he finished in fifth place. In the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup he was 15th in the drivers' championship with two sixth places as the best results. He also took part in the winter series of the British Formula Renault for Koiranen Motorsport. There he was ninth at the end of the season.

In 2012 , Bryant-Meisner took part in the German Formula 3 Cup for Performance Racing . After finishing third on the first race weekend, he was seriously injured during test drives at Rockingham Motor Speedway . Among other things, he broke two vertebrae. Bryant-Meisner was out the rest of the season. In 2013 , he made his comeback in German Formula 3 at Performance Racing. He won the first race weekend. Later in the season he won another race. He was on the podium six times and ended the season in fifth place in the drivers' standings. In addition, Bryant-Meisner took part in a British Formula 3 championship event as a guest starter for Performance Racing . He reached the goal twice in first place. In the European Formula 3 championship he competed twice for Fortec Motorsports .

In 2014 , Bryant-Meisner received a regular cockpit in the European Formula 3 championship at Fortec Motorsports. He left the team after the eighth event. At the end of the season, with an eighth place as the best result, he was in 21st place in the drivers' standings. Bryant-Meisner then contested two race weekends in the GP3 series for Trident Racing .
