Dmitri Evgenjewitsch Torbinski ( Russian Дми́трий Евге́ньевич Торби́нский ; born April 28, 1984 in Norilsk , Russian SFSR , USSR ) is a Russian football player .

Club career

Dmitri Torbinski played futsal as a youth in the city of Norilsk , but was then signed by Spartak Moscow . He made his professional debut for Spartak at the age of 17. In his first three seasons for Spartak he came only to six missions, also due to a serious knee injury in 2004. Torbinski was therefore loaned to Spartak Chelyabinsk. At the then second division club he cured his injuries and gained match practice. For the 2006 season he returned to Spartak Moscow and until 2007 played a total of 37 league games. Since January 2008 Torbinski played for Lokomotiv Moscow , which had signed him on a free transfer. In March 2011, Torbinski extended his contract with Lokomotiv Moscow until 2013.

National team

Torbinski made his debut for the Russian national football team on March 24, 2007 against the team from Estonia . The first international goal he was able to achieve in the 6-0 victory over Kazakhstan on May 24, 2008. At the European Football Championship in 2008 , he scored in the quarter-finals in a 3-1 win over the Netherlands in extra time to take the important 2-1 lead and was thus instrumental in helping his team advance.

At the European Football Championship in France in 2016 , he was included in the Russian squad . As one of a total of 6 players on the team, he was not used.

Private life

On November 29, 2008, Dmitri married his longtime girlfriend. Their son Artyom was born on July 8, 2009. On January 16, 2012, the Torbinski couple had a daughter named Alissa. In 2013 the third child, son Daniil, was born.
