Dmitri Wassiljewitsch Rigin ( Russian Дмитрий Васильевич Ригин ; born April 10, 1985 in Krasnoyarsk , Soviet Union ) is a Russian foil fencer .

successes

Dmitri Rigin won gold with the Russian foil team at the 2007 Summer Universiade in Bangkok and at the 2009 Summer Universiade in Belgrade .

In 2011 Rigin won the fencing World Cup "Lion of Bonn" in the semifinals against Peter Joppich from Germany and in the final against Choi Byung-chul from South Korea .

At the European Fencing Championships 2011 in Sheffield and at the European Fencing Championships 2014 in Strasbourg , Rigin won bronze with the Russian foil team.

At the European Fencing Championships 2015 in Montreux , Rigin won silver and a year later gold with the foil team in Toruń . At the Fencing World Championships 2015 in the Russian capital Moscow , Rigin also won silver with the foil team.
