The Dnipro ( Ukrainian Дніпро ) is a moving under Ukrainian flag three-star river cruise ship that in 1970 the shipyard Korneuburg the Austrian shipyards AG Linz in Korneuburg / Austria built and the Soviet Danube Shipping Company ( Russian ГП Советское Дунайское пароходство ММФ СССР ) in Ismajil . It belongs to the Volga class (project Q-031). The ship was named after the Dnieper River, which flows through three CIS countries : Russia , Belarus and Ukraine .

The river cruise ship with three passenger decks belongs to a series of two ships of the type "Volga" manufactured in 1970, which was also known as "Project Q-031". The Dnipro , built as the Dnepr in Russian lettering, has a diesel-electric drive with two four-stroke main engines MWM TbD 440-8 with a turbocharger of 900 hp each.

Furnishing
