Doğa Kaya (born July 30, 1984 in Ankara ) is a Turkish football player .
Career
society
Kaya comes from the youth forge of Gençlerbirliği Ankara and began his professional career there in 2002. After a year he was awarded to various teams in the Süper Lig from 2003 to 2006 . At Gençlerbirliği this is common practice, as they have the largest Turkish youth boarding school. The club has almost 500 players under contract who are loaned out to various clubs in the first, second and third division of Turkey.
In 2007 he moved to the second division Eskişehirspor . Here, in the first year, he was promoted to the first Turkish football league . With Serdar Özbayraktar , Koray Arslan , Sezgin Coşkun and Kaya, only four players of the promotion year remained in the squad and are also represented in the team in the 2010/2011 season. So far, he has played 37 first and second division games here and scored a total of two goals.
In the summer of 2011 he moved to the league competitor Antalyaspor . This club experienced a slump in performance at the end of the season and only managed to stay in the league in the last instance. As a consequence, a revision was carried out in the team squad and many players were released. Kaya was among the exempted players.
In the summer of 2012, Kaya moved to the first division club Sivasspor . The main reason for the move was that Kaya had already worked with Sivasspor's coach Rıza Çalımbay at Eskişehirspor . A few weeks before the winter break of the 2012/13 season, his contract was terminated by mutual agreement.
For the second half of the 2012/13 season he came to an agreement with his old club Gençlerbirliği Ankara and signed a contract for two and a half years. In the summer of 2016 he left this club after not having received a contract extension and agreed for the coming season with the second division club Göztepe Izmir . He left this club in early 2017.
National team
Doğa Kaya was appointed to a youth national team for the first time in 1999 and played in various age groups in Turkey until 2005. He wore the shirt with the crescent and star 84 times and scored four goals. So far, it has not been enough to be nominated for the senior national team. With the Turkish U-16 he took part in the U-16 European Football Championship in 2001 and was eliminated with his team in the group stage. In 2004 he took part with the Turkish U-19 selection at the U-19 European Football Championship 2004 and reached the Vice European Championship.
