Dominikus Kuenzer
Vincenz Ferreri Dominikus Kuenzer (born May 17, 1793 in Freiburg im Breisgau ; † May 11, 1853 in Konstanz ) was a German Roman Catholic priest, member of the Baden state parliament and member of the Frankfurt National Assembly .
Life
Dominikus Kuenzer studied theology at the University of Freiburg and completed the seminary in Meersburg. In 1815 he was ordained a priest in Weingarten . He became pastor in Rohrbach near Triberg , then pastor, dean and school visitator in Bonndorf and in 1836 hospital pastor in Constance .
He campaigned against the will of his superiors for liberal - democratic ideas, including as a member of the People's Committee in Constance and as a speaker at the People's Assembly in Stockach .
From 1837 to 1842 and from 1848 to 1849 Kuenzer was a member of the second Baden Chamber. In 1848 he was a member of the preliminary parliament . From June 27, 1848 until the end of the rump parliament on June 18, 1849, he was a member of the 11th Baden constituency in Achern in the Frankfurt National Assembly, where he belonged to the radical democratic faction Donnersberg .
