Dominique Perras

Dominique Perras (born February 11, 1974 in Naperville ) is a former Canadian cyclist and cycling commentator.

Career

Dominique Perras began his career in 1999 with the Nutra FIG cycling team . He celebrated his first stage win in 2002 on the Hokkaido Tour . The following year he won a stage for Flanders in the Herald Sun Tour , where he was also successful in 2004; In 2003 he was also Canadian road racing champion . At the Herald Sun Tour 2005 he finished second overall and fifth in the UCI Oceania Tour 2006 .

After retiring from cycling in 2008, Perras started working for the National Bank of Canada and worked for the French-speaking television broadcaster Réseau des sports as a cycling commentator for all major cycling events.
