Donald Penn (* 27. April 1983 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American American football poker players on the position of offensive tackle . He last played with the Washington Redskins in the National Football League (NFL) and was previously active for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oakland Raiders .

college

Penn attended Utah State University and successfully played college football for their team, the Aggies . He played a total of 44 games, where he was used both as a right and left offensive tackle .

NFL

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

In the NFL Draft 2006 he was not taken into account, but was then committed by the Minnesota Vikings as a free agent . He went through all of the preparation, but only made it into the Practice Squad and was released in early October. Shortly thereafter, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed him. Here he made it into the team, but remained without commitment in his rookie year . In 2007 he was able to establish himself, played in all games, twelve times even as a starter . In the following six seasons he became an indispensable part of the Buccaneers' O-Line and played every game as a starting tackle, first on the right, then on the left. In 2010 he was able to achieve the first of his four touchdowns so far in the game against the San Francisco 49ers ; that year Penn was also appointed to the Pro Bowl for the first time .

Oakland Raiders

In March 2014, he signed a two-year contract with the Oakland Raiders . In 2016, the contract was renewed and Penn was elected to the Pro Bowl for the second time .

On March 16, 2019, the Raiders parted ways with Penn by mutual agreement.

Washington Redskins

On July 31, 2019, the Washington Redskins signed him.
