Dong Dong ( Chinese  董 棟  /  董 栋 , Pinyin Dǒng Dòng ; born April 13, 1989 in Zhengzhou ) is a Chinese trampoline gymnast . He is trained by Cai Guangliang .

In 2005, Dong became the Chinese trampoline jumping champion. As a result, he was also able to record international success. Dong Dong took second place in the singles at the 2007 World Trampoline Championships in Québec and thus won silver. He was a member of the Chinese squad for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing . He took part in the individual competition and achieved the bronze medal behind the Canadian Jason Burnett and his compatriot Lu Chunlong . At the 2009 World Trampoline Championships in Saint Petersburg , Dong became the individual world champion for the first time. At the 2010 World Trampoline Championships he successfully defended his individual title, and at the 2011 World Championships he won the individual silver medal. In 2012, Dong Dong was Olympic champion in singles at the Olympic Games in London . At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, he had to admit defeat to the Belarusian trampoline gymnast Uladsislau Hantscharou and won the silver medal in the individual. In 2017 he won bronze in singles and gold with the team at the World Championships .
