Dorjpalamyn Narmandach ( Mongolian Доржпаламын Нармандах ; born December 18, 1975 in Darchan ) is a former Mongolian judoka .

The 1.62 m tall Dorjpalamyn Narmandach won a bronze medal in the ultra-light weight class up to 60 kilograms at the Asian Championships in 1993. At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, he defeated the Puerto Rican Melvin Méndez by Ippon. In the second round he defeated the Briton Nigel Donohue with a coca rating and in the quarter-finals he beat the Uzbek Alisher Muxtarov after 1:12 minutes. The Japanese Tadahiro Nomura finished the semi-finals after 1:54 minutes . In the battle for a bronze medal, Narmandach won against the Belarusian Nazik Bahirau after 2:40 minutes. Three and a half months after the Olympic Games, Narmandach won the final of the Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City against the South Korean Park Young-kyun .

After Narmandach was eliminated early at the Judo World Championships in 1995 and 1997 , he defeated the German Oliver Gussenberg in the round of 16 of the 1999 World Championships in Birmingham . After his quarterfinal defeat against the Japanese Kazuhiko Tokuno , the Mongol reached the battle for a bronze medal with two wins in the hope round, but lost to the Georgian Nestor Chergiani . A year later Narmandach lost to the South Korean Jung Bu-kyung in the round of 16 at the Olympic Games in Sydney and was eliminated in the hope round against Nestor Chergiani. At the Asian Championships, Narmandach won bronze in 2000 and 2001.
