Chaschbaataryn Tsagaanbaatar ( Mongolian Хашбаатарын Цагаанбаатар ; born March 19, 1984 ) is a Mongolian judoka .

Tsagaanbaatar demonstrated his international class for the first time at a Super A tournament in Moscow in 2003 , where he achieved third place. At the 2004 Summer Olympics , he won the bronze medal in the super lightweight (up to 60 kg body weight). The Mongol was able to achieve another success at the OTTO World Cup in Hamburg on February 24, 2007, with a third place in the weight class up to 66 kg. Only the eventual winner of this weight class, the French Benjamin Darbelet, he had to admit defeat.

In 2005 and 2009 he won the world championship in sambo and in 2009 in judo ( weight class up to 66 kilograms).
