The eastern area of the choir goes back to the building of the church before the fire of 1718. The hall church was initially rebuilt by 1722, but was not completed until 1745. The nave is covered with a slate hipped roof, from which the eight-sided roof turret rises above the choir . This consists of an attachment that is covered by a hood on which an open lantern sits, which is crowned by a tower ball . Three bronze church bells hang in the tower . The large windows of the church only face south. The painting of the church consists of pictures of the biblical story . On the ceiling is a picture of the Ascension . The church furnishings include a pulpit altar and a baptismal angel . The organ with 14 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , was built in 1858 by Friedrich Wilhelm Dornheim. In the 1870s, the interior of the church was repainted.
