Building description

View into the nave

The building was erected on a base made of surrounding reddish bricks . Craftsmen built a half-timbered structure on it , the compartment of which consists of a mixture of clay and straw. The choir has not moved in and has a five-eighth closing . On its east wall as well as on the north and south walls there is a large, arched window.

This is followed by the nave . It has a rectangular floor plan and three windows on its north side and two windows on its south side that are similar to the choir. On the south side is a small, rectangular half-timbered extension in the middle. It can be entered from the south through a simple, arched gate. The ship and annex have a simple gable roof , with the ship roof sloping towards the east .

The church tower from 1772 adjoins it in the west . Its west wall was built from bricks. The spire is square and has an arched sound arcade on the three accessible sides . On the east side is a small, raised and square opening. Above is a curved tower dome that merges into an open lantern . It ends with a tower ball and cross.

Furnishing

The pulpit altar from the end of the 17th century stands on the brick cafeteria . It was rebuilt around 1770, supplemented and restored in 1991. It consists of a column structure and laterally attached cheeks, which are decorated with cartilage . Above is a blown gable. In the predella the Lord's Supper is depicted. The polygonal pulpit is decorated with corner pillars and shows the crucifixion of Christ on its door .

In 1955, the parish shortened the horseshoe gallery and rearranged the parapet paintings dated 1772. The building has a flat roof inside.

In front of the southern porch, a memorial commemorates those who died in the world wars.
