church

The current church was built from field stone in 1853. Today's church replaced a previous building that stood in the same place. It is a hall building, the western part is a little wider. The middle part of this west wing is built like a tower and has a concave tent roof. There are gable roofs on the side components of the west transom. The openings such as the windows and the gate have reveals made of bricks . In 1967 the church was renovated. The room setting and the furnishings were destroyed. As a result, the interior of the church is sober. In 1997 the exterior and roof were renovated.

Furnishing

Inside there are two altarpieces. They come from a baroque altarpiece. One picture shows Christ on the Mount of Olives, the other a Lord's Supper . There is also a new altarpiece in the church, it shows the risen Christ. The baptismal font is probably from 1853. The pulpit is also probably from 1853. The pulpit has been on the ground since the renovation in 1967. The organ is also from 1853, the builder is GA Friedrich from Wittenberg .

There are two bells in the church . The large bell is cast from bronze and dates from the 13th century. It is probably the oldest bell in the Jüterbog area . The little bell was cast in 1648 by Georg Billich from Wittenberg. This bell is also made of bronze.
