The Protestant village church of Wietstock is a baroque hall church in Wietstock , a district in Ludwigsfelde in the Teltow-Fläming district in Brandenburg .

history

Not much is known about the history of the sacred building . The building was built in 1764 by the parish in the Baroque style.

architecture

The church was built from bricks and given a plaster that is brightly painted in the 21st century. The corners of the building are highlighted by grooved pilasters . There are large, beehive-shaped windows on the north and south sides of the nave , while blinds have been incorporated on the east side . The massive west tower, which is square in its plan, is also structured with grooved corner pilasters and similar window openings. This is followed by a boarded-up upper floor with a clock on the north and south sides. A bell from the 14th or 15th century hangs behind small sound arcades . The triple curved tower hood ends with a tower ball , weather vane and star. The parish describes these characteristics in a church leader as "unique in the region". The roof of the nave is covered with red beaver tail , the tower with black slate. On the northern outer wall is a Epitaph of sandstone for the five children of the pastor Johann Christian Racke joke , who died at the 1750th

Furnishing

The pulpit altar with a curly basket is made of wood and is comparatively simple. The date of its creation could be dated by experts to the middle of the 18th century. It closes with a sound cover and a ray of sun on it. The fifth dates from 1709 and consists of an octagonal cup , which is decorated with acanthus . A horseshoe gallery is based on Tuscan columns and dates from the time the church was built. The interior of the nave is flat and decorated with a voute .
