Dormánd is a Hungarian community in the district Füzesabony in Heves county .
geography
Dormánd extends over an area of 20.06 km². The municipality is located 4 km south of Füzesabony and 3 km north of Besenyőtelek on the national road 31 . The districts of Nagyhanyi and Kishanyi west of Besenyőtelek also belong to the municipality.
Attractions
- The Roman Catholic Church Kisboldogasszony : The monument was built from 1771 to 1773 in the Rococo style.
- The St. Anna Chapel in the district of Kishanyi (hanyipusztai Szent Anna kápolna): Built in 1719 in Baroque style, restored in 1814.
- The museum opened in 1976 in the house where Zsigmond Remenyik was born.

Daughters and sons of the church
The Hungarian poet Zsigmond Remenyik was born here on July 19, 1900 and went to school here for the first few years.

The nearest train station is in Füzesabony . At the northern border of the municipality there is an exit from the M3 motorway to the state road 33 . Landesstraße 31 ends in the village .
