The Doron is a mountain river in France that runs in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the Massif du Beaufortin , in the municipality of Beaufort , generally drains in a westerly direction, flows through the Lac de Roselend reservoir and, after around 25 kilometers , flows into the Arly as a left tributary at Le Doron , in the municipality of Venthon , just north of Albertville .
