Dr. Woggle & the Radio is a band from Weinheim . The eight-member formation plays traditional ska , mixed with rocksteady and reggae .
history
The band emerged from the appearance of a high school formation in 1997. Drummer Antonio Romero and singer Nikolaus Knapp have been with the band since it was founded. After the first appearances, the musical profile emerged, a mixture of ska and reggae music. In the following years, Dr. Woggle & the Radio in France, the Benelux countries, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and Italy.
The album Rockers! was recorded with the support of a number of guest musicians. The musicians Mal Elévé from Irie Révoltés , Jesse Günther and Stefan Keller from The Busters and Lolo Blümler from Ska Trek were involved in the recordings.
