Soulfire Artists
Soulfire Artists was founded in summer 2003 in Munich by Christoph Pössinger as an artist agency. It supports the musicians in the areas of labels , online distribution , promotion , booking and management and is based in Geltendorf .
Pössinger previously worked for the record company Virgin Records . He gained his first experience with the bands Deboone and Headcornerstone , which he supervised as a manager. At the same time, in cooperation with Philip Winter and the Music Support Group, the first two CDs were released on the newly founded Soulfire Artists label. With Rough Trade, a suitable distributor for Germany and the Benelux countries was quickly found. The distribution partner Edel was found in Austria and music distribution in Switzerland . The label Kontor New Media supports the digital distributor .
The company developed into one of the leading German booking and promotion agencies in the areas of reggae , ska and world music and has carried out tours for artists such as Junior Kelly , Glen Washington , Jamaram , Jahcoustix and many others.
