Dragana Tomašević ( Serbian - Cyrillic Драгана Томашевић ; born June 4, 1982 in Sremska Mitrovica , Vojvodina , SR Serbia , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian discus thrower .

In their first international appearance at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens , Tomašević failed as 38th in the qualifying round. At the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 2005 , she finished 7th with a width of 60.56 meters. At the Mediterranean Games in Almería in 2005 , she won the gold medal before shortly afterwards she won the bronze medal at the Summer Universiade 2005 in Izmir . In the 2006 European Athletics Championships in Sweden's Gothenburg Tomašević reached a distance of 60.20 meters and came to eighth place. At the Summer Universiade 2007 in Bangkok she won bronze again. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , she failed just under 13th before reaching the final round. A year later she started at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin in 2009 , but did not make it into the final as ninth in the qualification with a width of 59.38 meters. At the European Athletics Championships in Barcelona in 2010 , she made it to the finals again. In the end she took sixth place with 60.10 meters.
