International 3-stage tour

The international 3-stage tour was a German cycling - stage race for juniors .

The race was held over three stages and usually took place in May. Since 2008, the first stage has been an eight-kilometer individual time trial in Frankfurt am Main . The second stage led to Darmstadt , the third to Frankfurt. The last two stages were each about 100 kilometers.

The tour has been held since 1971 and was most recently classified in the UCI category 2.1 MJ. The race had established itself as a springboard for later successful riders in the elite class . The last edition of the competition was in 2013. The race scheduled for May 16-18, 2014 was canceled due to financial problems.
