Ralf Stambula

Ralf Stambula (born April 13, 1954 in Düsseldorf ) is a former German cyclist .

Stambula began cycling in the RSV Düsseldorf-Rath club in 1964. In 1971, Ralf Stambula won the first international 3-stage tour for juniors, ahead of Dietrich Thurau . In 1975 and 1978 Ralf Stambula was German champion in the team pursuit . At the UCI World Championships in Barcelona in 1984 , Ralf Stambula came third in the amateurs ' standing race , behind pacemaker Ehrenfried Rudolph . He was part of the German national team for twelve years. After a serious fall, he ended his cycling career.

From 2005 to 2016 Stambula was the sporting director of the Koga Ladies Cycling Team . Stambula has been leading the successor team, d.velop-cycle cafe ladies, since 2017 .
