Knut Binting

Knut Binting (* 1956 ) is a former German cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

His first major success was the 2nd place at the German championship on the track in the team pursuit in 1978 with the RSG Böblingen . A year later he and his team won the championship race in front of the RSG Wiesbaden . From 1980 to 1982 he won the bronze medal in this discipline. He won another national championship title in 1980 with Roland Weissinger in a two-man team . From 1979 he was also a member of the German national rail team .
