Bruno Hänle

Bruno Hänle (born June 29, 1954 in Ravensburg ) is a former German cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

In 1979, Hänle won the German team pursuit championship with his club mates Christian Bock , Knut Binting and Roland Weissinger from RSG Böblingen . In 1980 he was able to repeat this success (this time with Karl Wörner instead of Binting). In the single pursuit he was runner-up behind Josef Kristen . From 1977 to 1985 he was on the podium in every championship in at least one discipline ( single pursuit, team pursuit or two-man team driving ). In 1980 he was in the preparatory squad of the Federation of German Cyclists (BDR) for the Summer Olympics in Moscow , but could not compete there due to the Olympic boycott of the Federal Republic and other countries.

From 1988 to 1990 he was chairman of the Ravensburg Cyclist Association.
