Rudi Thoss

Rudi Thoß (born January 25, 1907 in Plauen , † after 1952) was a German racing cyclist and national cycling champion .

Athletic career

In 1933 he won his first German championship when he won the team pursuit title with his club RC Wanderer Chemnitz (with Fritz Funke, among others ) . From 1937 to 1941 the RC Wanderer was able to defend the title, each time in a changing composition of the four. Thoß was there every time he won the title, and Hans Preiskeit was part of the team for the last three wins . After the Second World War he went cycling again and ended his career in 1952.

His son Dieter Thoss became the GDR champion in the stalker race in 1962 .
