Heinrich Rühl

Heinrich Rühl (* 1922 in Munich ; † unknown) was a German cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

Rühl started for the RC Express Herpersdorf association . During his career he was able to win four championship jerseys. On September 7, 1947, he was surprisingly German champion in the amateur street race ahead of Willi Postler and Werner Holthöfer . Shortly before the finish, he was able to pull away from the field and gain a one-minute lead. The following year followed titles in the team time trial with Gerhard Stubbe , Gotthard Dinta and Matthias Pfannenmüller and on the track in the team pursuit with Gerhard Stubbe, Gotthard Dinta and Heinz Jakobi . In 1949 the RC Express Herpersdorf defended the title on the track with Rühl. In 1950 he became a professional driver in the German racing team Express , to which his club colleague Stubbe also moved. He drove as a professional for two years, without much success.
