Günter Tüller

Günter Tüller (born April 3, 1938 in Velbert ) is a former German cyclist .

Career

In 1956 Günter Tüller became German junior road champion . In 1959 he won the national title with the amateurs , started at the road world championships in Zandvoort and finished 32nd in 1960 he was German runner-up in the road race of amateurs.

In 1961 Tüller got a professional contract. In 1962 he was able to finish third in the German Mountain Championship and take a remarkable 20th place in the road race for the World Championship in Salo, Italy. In 1963 he was second in the Munich-Zurich long-distance journey and in 1964 in second place in the German Mountain Championship.

In 1964 he ended his cycling career and opened a toy and bicycle shop in his hometown.
