Hans Neumayer

Hans Neumayer (born January 10, 1956 in Moosburg an der Isar ) is a former German racing cyclist .

In 1980, Hans Neumayer, who started for the RSG Nürnberg , won Cologne-Schuld-Frechen , the Tour de l'Yonne and became German champion in the amateur road race . He then became a professional and in 1981 and 1982 German champion in the professional road race . In 1982 he was also third in the German championship in two-man team driving , together with Hans-Peter Jakst . In the same year he started the Tour de France , but gave up on the second stage. Neumayer remained a professional until 1988, but could only achieve minor victories after 1982.
