Alfred Gaida

Alfred Gaida (born July 27, 1951 in Prószków , Poland ) is a former German cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Gaida came to Germany with his family in 1969 as a repatriate . In May 1970 he drove his first bike race for his new German club. In 1972 Alfred Gaida, who started for PSV Cologne , was German champion in the amateur street race ; in the same year he won the Flèche du Sud and was third at Cologne-Schuld-Frechen . Also in 1972 he started at the Summer Olympics in Munich and was 57th in the individual road race. Then he turned professional , started in the Tour de France 1973 and was 81. In 1974 he won a partial stage from Paris-Nice . In 1975 he finished third in the German standing championship .
