Roger Poulain

Roger Poulain (born February 6, 1953 in Berlin ) is a former German cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

As a young driver, Poulain was already German champion in the team time trial in 1973 with his club, RVg Luisenstadt Berlin . In 1974 he was runner-up in this discipline. In 1976 he won the traditional Rund race in Berlin ( West ), in which he took several podium places over the years. The traditional Kreuzberg race around the Rollberg saw him as the winner (as in 1981). Its versatility he exhibited for the year by winning the Amateur - Six Days of Grenoble to the test. He competed in the Tour de l'Avenir for the German national team . A year later he competed in the International Peace Tour , where he was 83rd overall. He won the traditional German one-day race in 1978 around Frankfurt .
