Friedhelm Klenner

Friedhelm Klenner (born March 5, 1946) is a former German cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

Klenner started cycling in the Neusser-Radsportverein 88/09 club in youth B, later switched to the RC Schwalbe Mönchengladbach club . In 1973 he won the team pursuit at the German track championships with his club Berliner RC Grün-Weiß Derby 1921 (which was part of Peter Vonhof , Rainer Podlesch , Friedhelm Klenner, Michael Becker ). In the same year he was runner-up in the team time trial (as in 1969 and 1970) and in the two-man team race with Hans-Gerd Hünerbein . He was also second in the German championship in 1971 in the single pursuit behind Rupert Kratzer .
