Drew Pearce (born August 24, 1975 in Fife , Scotland ) is a British screenwriter , film director and film producer who became internationally known through the film Hotel Artemis .

life and career

Born in Scotland in 1975, Pearce has worked in the film business in a variety of roles since the late 1990s. Since the mid-2000s he has mainly appeared as a screenwriter and producer. He wrote Iron Man 3 from 2013 and Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation with Tom Cruise from 2015. In 2019 he and Chris Morgan wrote the screenplay for the action film Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw with Dwayne Johnson , Jason Statham and Idris Elba .

In 2018, Drew Pearce directed his first own feature film, which he also co-produced, based on his script with Hotel Artemis , a science fiction production starring Jodie Foster , Sterling K. Brown and Sofia Boutella .
