The Druzhba (Russian: Дружба , Druzhba ; German friendship ) is a training ship of the Ukrainian Academy for Navigation. The ship, built in 1987, is one of the modern full ships in a series of sister ships designed by the Polish sailing ship designer Zygmunt Choreń and was built at the Polish Stocznia Gdanska shipyard in Gdańsk .

Sister ships of the Druzhba are Mir , Pallada , Khersones , Dar Młodzieży and Nadezhda .

The druzhba was also used by tourists, there is a restaurant and two bars. The ship sailed in Greek and Turkish waters in summer and in the Red Sea in winter .

After the operating company went bankrupt, the ship was chained in Limassol for three years . In February 2001 the ship left Limassol and went to Odessa, where it is still today. It is still used for training cadets, but is no longer roadworthy. Around half a million euros are needed to get the ship back on the road.
