Dudu Paraíba ( Carlos Eduardo de Souza Tomé ; born March 11, 1985 in Mari , Paraíba , Brazil ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

Dudu Paraíba played in Brazil for Botafogo FC of João Pessoa , Paraíba , before joining EC Vitória in 2002 and Avaí FC in 2007 . From 2007 to 2008 he played for Marek Dupnitsa and Litex Lovetsch in Bulgaria . In the summer of 2009 he moved to Poland to the then second division club Widzew Łódź . With Widzew Łódź he immediately made it to the Ekstraklasa . After the 2011/12 season , Dudu Paraíba and Widzew Łódź dissolved the ongoing contract prematurely by mutual agreement. At the end of July 2012, he then signed a contract with the Mexican second division club Lobos de la BUAP . Then followed three seasons at Śląsk Wrocław , in 2016 he joined Aris Limassol for twelve months and then moved to União Recreativa dos Trabalhadores in his native Brazil . He has been playing in Poland again since summer 2018, this time for second division Odra Opole .
