Dylan Muse Sprayberry (born July 7, 1998 in Houston , Texas ) is an American actor . He was best known for his roles as a young " Superman / Clark Kent " in the comic book adaptation Man of Steel (2013) as well as "Liam Dunbar" in the MTV - television series Teen Wolf (2014 to 2017).

Life

Dylan Sprayberry was born in Houston , Texas , in July 1998 , where he grew up with his younger sister. In Houston, he attended West University Elementary until 2005 before his family moved to California .

He had one of his first acting roles in 2008 in an episode of youth - sitcom iCarly . This was followed by guest appearances on MADtv and Criminal Minds . In 2009 he got his first role in a feature film. In the fantasy adventure The Almost Forgotten World , he was seen in an uncredited role. He also received minor supporting roles in the films Old Dogs - Daddy or Deal (2009), Bedrooms (2010) and Spooky Buddies - The Curse of the Hallowuff Dog (2011). In 2012, Sprayberry starred as the younger version of Matthew Bomer's character Cooper Anderson in the musical comedy Glee .

In 2013, Sprayberry was finally able to celebrate its greatest success to date. He received the supporting role of the 13-year-old Clark Kent in by Zack Snyder produced comic book adaptation Man of Steel to him in 2014 a nomination for the Saturn Award as best young actor earned.
