Digitalurope

Digitaleurope is an association of more than 30 national electronics associations and more than 50 large electrical companies from Europe, the USA and Japan. From 1999 to early 2009, she called herself E uropean I nformation, C ommunications and Consumer Electronics Industry T echnology A ssociation (EICTA).

The organization awards the " HD ready " label for televisions and the "HD TV" label for receivers. It is also an international lobby organization.

Members

The member companies include Apple , Blaupunkt , Canon , Dell , Epson , Fujitsu , Hitachi , Hewlett-Packard , IBM , Infineon , Intel , Lexmark , LG , Matsushita , Micronas , Microsoft , Motorola , NEC , Nokia , Philips , Sanyo , Siemens , Sony , Sun , TI and Toshiba .

The association is the international umbrella organization of the German industry association BITKOM . The ZVEI is just as much a member as SWICO and the FEEI .
