The EUTM RCA ( English European Union training mission in the Central African Republic ) is a multinational training mission of the European Union with headquarters in Bangui in the Central African Republic .

As part of the Common Security and Defense Policy of the European Union (EU), the EUTM RCA was set up by the European Council on July 16, 2016 and, according to the current mandate, will last until September 2020. This ties in with the EUMAM RCA , the EU's military advisory mission , and works closely with the armed forces of the Central African Republic . This includes advice to the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff and the Cabinet on strategic issues and in training and organization. In addition, she supports the Ministry of the Interior and the gendarmerie in matters of civil-military cooperation.

However, the mission does not have an executive mandate.

The command is the French Brigadier General Éric Peltier. Around 170 soldiers from 12 countries are represented on the training mission.
