The EWHL Super Cup 2013/14 was the third edition of the EWHL Super Cup . The competition in ice hockey of women is of the Elite Women's Hockey League organized (EWHL) and stands like this under the umbrella of the IIHF .

Mode and participants

The four participating teams play everyone against everyone in a single round . A game lasts 3 × 20:00 minutes. There are three points for a win; For a victory after overtime ( sudden victory overtime ) or penalty shootout , the winner receives two points, the loser one.

In addition to last year's participants ESC Planegg , ECDC Memmingen and EHV Sabers Wien , the team "Austrian Selects", which consists of players from the EWHL teams DEC Salzburg Eagles , WE-V Flyers and Neuberg Highlanders , took part this season. The project was initiated to give more Austrian players the opportunity to take part in this high-class competition. Last year's winner ZSC Lions did not participate.

After the season had started, HK Pantera Minsk announced that "the women's ice hockey project in Belarus / Pantera Minsk has been discontinued" . The scheduled games against Pantera Minsk were canceled.
