In 2012 she left Berlin and moved to ECDC Memmingen , with which she won the DEB Cup in 2013. She still belonged to the sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr with the rank of corporal .

In 2014 Busch had to undergo several operations after the Olympic Games in Sochi and was out for the entire 2014/15 season. At the beginning of the following season she returned to the ice, but had to end her career for good in 2016.

International

In autumn 2002 she was appointed to the German women's national team for the first time, and her first international tournament was the 2003 Air Canada Cup . Since then she has been a permanent member of the national team and competed in the 2004 , 2005 , 2007 , 2008 , 2012 and 2013 World Championships . After the German women were relegated to the second division of the world title fights, Division I, at the 2008 edition, Busch also took part with the national team in Division I tournaments in 2009 and 2011 , with the latter being promoted to the top division again . Another highlight of her career was her participation in the 2006 Winter Olympics , where she finished fifth with the national team.
