The 2010/11 season was the 23rd edition of the women's ice hockey Bundesliga in Germany . The ESC Planegg / Würmtal won for the second time in the club's championship .
Before the season
The SV Brackwede , champion of the 2nd League North, the ERC Sonthofen , champion of the division of Bavaria and the ESG Esslingen , Master of Baden-Wuerttemberg League, gave up a climb, so again only seven participants levies a message for the league.
mode
In contrast to the previous season , the Bundesliga clubs initially played a double round . The winner of the double round was the German champion. The league was carried out by the German Ice Hockey Federation .
Climbers
The champions of the 2nd division north and the winner from the relegation games in Bavaria / Baden-Württemberg can also be promoted. The target strength for the Bundesliga is still 12 clubs.
Points regulation

- in the event of a win in normal playing time, the winner three points; the loser doesn't lose a point
