Lisa Christine Schuster (born May 28, 1987 in Munich ) is a German ice hockey player who has been active in the women's ice hockey Bundesliga for the OSC Berlin since 2012 .
Career
Club
Lisa Schuster got into ice hockey at the age of five through her brother. From 2002 she played for the ESC Planegg in the women's ice hockey Bundesliga .
In 2008 she moved to the Ravens Salzburg , for whom she played in the Elite Women's Hockey League and Women's Ice Hockey Bundesliga . With the Ravens she won the Austrian state championship at the end of the season . Then Schuster returned to the ESC Planegg. In the 2010/11 season she began studying printing and media technology at the Munich University of Applied Sciences .
In 2012 she decided to move within the Bundesliga to the OSC Berlin and completed a practical semester at a Berlin printing company. During the 2013/14 season she interrupted her studies in order to optimally prepare for the 2014 Winter Olympics .
International
Lisa Schuster was a member of the extended national team from 2003 and was initially used in the B national team. From 2006 she was used in the A team in tournaments and completed her first world championship in 2008 , where she was relegated to Division I with the national team. In 2009 she took part in the World Championship of Division I , but did not succeed in returning to the top division with second place.
Further participation in world championships followed in 2012 and 2013 , and in February 2013 Schuster qualified with the national team for the 2014 Winter Olympics .
By January 2014, Schuster had completed 110 international matches. As part of the preparation for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , Daria Gleißner was injured and Lisa Schuster was nominated for this on February 6, 2014 - after she had previously been registered as a successor at the IOC .
