The women's ice hockey Bundesliga season 2004/05 was the 17th Bundesliga season for women in Germany. During the course of the season, a team other than TV Kornwestheim was able to prevail for the first time since 2000 , so that in the end the Bergkamener Bears were able to win the German championship title for the first time .

organization

The league was carried out by the German Ice Hockey Federation .

mode

The preliminary round was carried out separately in the relays in a single round each against each with a return leg. The teams in places 1 to 3 of each relay move into the intermediate round. The four winners will determine the final opponents in two semi-finals (1st against 4th, 2nd against 3rd). The teams in 5th and 6th place play for the 2005 DEB Women's Cup .
