The 2014/15 season was the 27th edition of the women's ice hockey Bundesliga in Germany . The league was carried out by the German Ice Hockey Federation . The main round started with its first day of play on September 27, 2014 and ended on March 8, 2015.

As in the previous season, the Bundesliga clubs initially played a double round . The winner of the double round was the German champion. The previous three-point rule was retained, so that if you win in regular time, the winner receives three points and the loser receives no point at all. In the event of a tie after regular time, both teams received one point each. The winner of the subsequent penalty shootout received an additional point.
The teams from the previous season started without ESG Esslingen , which withdrew from the first division. For this, the EKU Mannheim Käfertal took part, whose women's team is under a new name as Maddogs Mannheim . The ladies of the club participated as Kurpfalz ladies in the highest German women's ice hockey league from 2004 to 2011.
