The women's ice hockey Bundesliga season 2003/04 was the 16th Bundesliga season for women in Germany. In the course of the season the TV Kornwestheim was able to prevail repeatedly , which won the x. Were able to win the title of German master .

The preliminary round was carried out separately in the relays in a single round each against each with a return leg. The teams in places 1 to 3 of each relay move into the intermediate round. The four winners will determine the final opponents in two semi-finals (1st against 4th, 2nd against 3rd).

Preliminary round

In the preliminary round, the teams in the groups North and South played in a simple round with a return game against each other for places 1 to 3, which qualified for the intermediate round. The teams in places 4 to 6 of both groups played for the 2004 DEB Women's Cup .

The last three teams in each group played another placement round internally. Group North played 3 games against each opponent; Group South a double round with a return game, i.e. 8 games. Since the league was increased in the next season, there was no relegation.
